Riding Gear
  • Helmet (no helmet no ride!)
  • Suitable shoes
  • Shorts with padded insert
  • Comfortable wicking top
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Backpack (just in case)
  • Gloves

Food ideas

  • Energy bars/ bananas for a steady supply of carbs- you will need them!
  • Gels- for a quick fix
  • Jam sandwiches- a cheap and effective energy boost
  • Chocolate milk- for a protein fix post ride
  • Drink ideas- Isotonic (not fizzy, they will give you a sugar rush)
  • Energy powders- add to water, just remember to wash out your bottles/ bladder post ride.

On all-day rides we will find a pub or cafe to take a break.
